One of the many ways CoRE gives back to the community is our own student-run computing PODS called the Pseudopod. The Pseudopod is a small computer facility located in the basement of O'Connor Hall. CoRE members volunteer their time to keep the Pseudopod open most nights and providing assistance to users.
The Pseudopod was originally started many years ago, before the University's own PODS existed, and had the laser printer open for students to use. Continuing in this tradition, CoRE still provides free laser printing to students (who don't want to bear the cold walk across campus to the University PODS) as well as access to software and devices unavailable in the University PODS. Furthermore, CoRE members are often quite knowledgeable in computers and can provide a high level of support to users with problems.
Information about the Pseudopodia location, hours, and contact info can be found under the "Pseudopod" Menu.
