Are you looking for friendship, fun, and a supportive environment? Then Whitney Hall is the place for you! Whitney Hall, part of the Dickinson Community, is more than just a Residence Hall; it is a home away from home. Students in Whitney find themselves with numerous opportunities for involvement. Of course, there are the large scale events for which Whitney goes all out. Residents work together and show their building and community spirit during Dickinson Day, Mutant Mania, Co-Rec football, and a host of other programs. Our wonderful Resident Assistants and Hall Council also provide programs of social and educational nature that benefit our residents. Whether it be sexual assault awareness, going to a B.C. Icemen hockey game, or learning how to do some yoga, these students always make sure that something is going on. However, it is the simple day to day living that makes Whitney so special. It is all the open doors and the smiling faces behind those doors. It is going down to the Rec Lounge and finding a new friend with whom to play ping pong, to compete in some air hockey, or to simply watch some t.v. together. Whitney prides itself on not only being an involved building in the Dickinson and Binghamton community, but also as a place that fosters friendship and growth. If you live in Whitney Hall, you will learn that it truly is your home away from home.
